Ahoi! My name is Maya. I’m a multimedia artist exploring the Universe inside and around me through painting, writing and photography/videography. I want to show human life and emotion in their rawest form, wrapping my art in magic and childlike playfulness, making it for only a viewer impossible to know what is illusion and what is really truth. I’m a survivalist and trickster by heart, love finding secret passageways, break rules to create new and am always on the run (to be honest mostly from myself). My end goal is to inspire people to jump behind the fences of society, to unlearn everything and see they can be so much more.
